Is Cannabis legal in the USVI?

Cannabis in the United States Virgin Islands is illegal for medical and recreational use (for now), but possession of under 1 ounce (28 g) is decriminalized. Medical use was legalized in 2019 through a bill that passed the Senate 9–4 called The Medical Cannabis Patient Care Act (MCPCA). They passed the laws but haven't finished creating all of the rules and regulations yet. This makes delta 9 THC products over the .3% net wt by volume illegal. For the most up-to-date information, we recommend visiting the website for the Virgin Islands Office of Cannabis Regulations and contacting them directly or signing up for the newsletter.
